Samir Sabry, an Egyptian lawyer, has filed a lawsuit before the Egyptian general prosecutor, Judge Talaat Abdallah, against President Mohamd Morsi and Gen. Moahmed Ibrahim, Minister of Interior; calling for investigating with them over the incidents of the Cathedral in Al Abbasyia on Sunday.
The Egyptian lawyer, in his lawsuit, bore the Minister of Interior the responsibility of not securing the Cathedral as a holy place in the country, as well as the responsibility of firing tear gases inside the Cathedral. He also accused President Morsi with arousing turmoil and disorder in the country.
Sabry gave evidence on his accusation by proving that clashes had stopped once the Minister of Interior arrived at the scene.
