Egyptian Petrochemicals Co. partners with AOI’s Imdad to boost local manufacturing

Egyptian Petrochemicals Company has signed a cooperation protocol with Imdad, the marketing arm of the Arab Organisation for Industrialisation (AOI), to supply its Alexandria plants with locally manufactured occupational safety and health equipment.

The agreement, signed on Thursday, aims to strengthen Egypt’s local industry by leveraging the technical capabilities of the Organisation’s factories, according to a statement by the Minister of Petroleum.

The partnership is part of broader efforts to promote industrial self-sufficiency, enhance workplace safety standards, and reduce reliance on imported equipment within the energy and manufacturing sectors.
