Egyptian pound closes higher vs. US dollar on Tuesday – CBE
The Egyptian pound (EGP) appreciated against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.4744 and the selling rate at EGP 48.5744, compared with Monday’s rates of EGP 48.5447 for buying and EGP 48.6447 for selling.
