Egyptian pound dips against USD at Wednesday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) fell against the US dollar (USD) on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.5963 and the selling rate at EGP 48.6963, compared with Tuesday’s rates of EGP 48.5423 for buying and EGP 48.6423 for selling.
