Egyptian pound down vs. US dollar at Monday’s close – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) slightly declined against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, August 18, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.3132 and the selling rate at EGP 48.4132, compared with Sunday’s rates of EGP 48.2626 for buying and EGP 48.3626 for selling.
