Egyptian pound edges higher vs. dollar at Tuesday’s close

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a minor rise against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.6114 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.7114, compared to Monday’s rates of EGP 50.6300 and EGP 50.7300, respectively.
