Egyptian pound edges lower vs. dollar at Thursday’s close – CBE

The Egyptian pound (EGP) saw a minor dip against the US dollar (USD) on Thursday, March 27, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

The CBE reported an average buying rate of EGP 50.5291 per dollar and a selling rate of EGP 50.6291, compared to Wednesday’s rates of EGP 50.5000 and EGP 50.6000, respectively.
