Egyptian pound edges up against dollar in early Thursday trading
The Egyptian pound strengthened slightly against the US dollar in early Thursday trading, but continued to hover within a narrow band after several weeks of stability, according to official bank data.
As of 11:23 a.m. Cairo time (09:23 GMT), major banks quoted the pound at:
