Egyptian pound ends Tuesday lower against US dollar – CBE
The Egyptian pound (EGP) dropped against the US dollar (USD) on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.4068 and the selling rate at EGP 48.5068, compared with Monday’s rates of EGP 48.3132 for buying and EGP 48.4132 for selling.
