Egyptian pound gains slightly against dollar in early Tuesday trade
The Egyptian pound edged slightly higher against the US dollar in early trading on Tuesday, according to official exchange rate data from major banks.
As of 11:00 a.m. Cairo time (09:00 GMT), the pound was quoted at:

The local currency has remained broadly stable in recent weeks, fluctuating within a tight band after a period of sharp volatility earlier this year, when the pound was under pressure amid foreign exchange shortages and high inflation.
