Egyptian pound gains vs. US dollar at Monday’s close
The Egyptian pound (EGP) rose against the US dollar (USD) on Monday, August 4, 2025, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The CBE quoted the average buying rate at EGP 48.3953 and the selling rate at EGP 48.4953, compared with Sunday’s rates of EGP 48.5929 for buying and EGP 48.6929 for selling.
