Egyptian Promotional Mission to visit U.S. next October

The Egyptian Chemicals and Fertilizers Export Council (CEC) intends to send a promotional delegation to the United States next October, Chairman Khaled Abou EL Makarem said Saturday.

During the visit, the mission -set to encompass 50 Egyptian firms- will focus on the participation of different sectors like paper, carton, glass and plastic as they are the most qualified sectors to enter the American market, the Chairman stated.

The newly-appointed chairman asserted that the council will hold its first meeting, after the restructure, on August 18 to discuss its strategy for the upcoming period.

The council is currently coordinating with the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, U.S.-Egypt Business Council and the American firms working in the Egyptian market in order that the delegation achieve its goals and increase exports volume, Abou El Makarem stated.
