Egyptian Raya Holding’s unit gets $39.8mn loans in 8 months
Aman for Microfinance, owned by Egypt’s Raya Holding For Financial Investments, has obtained 650 million Egyptian pounds ($39.8 million) loans from 8 banks during the first 8 months of the year, managing director said on Wednesday.
The 8 banks are the National Bank of Egypt (NBE), Banque Misr, Banque du Caire, Suez Canal Bank, Export Development Bank of Egypt, Housing and Development Bank, Societe Arabe Internationale De Banque (SAIB), and Egyptian Arab Land Bank (EALB), Ahmed El Khatib further told Mubasher.
Aman for Microfinance pumped such funding into several sectors in Egypt, including service, production and commercial sectors, he added.
During the second half of 2018, the company obtained loans worth 250 million from several banks, he said.
