Egyptian retailer Hyperone’s eyes 40% surge in Ramadan sales
Egyptian supermarket chain, Hyper One said on Wednesday it targets a 40 percent increase in its sales to 800 million Egyptian pounds ($46.3 million) during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.
The firm also targets sales of 700 million pounds from its products, according to chairman and founder Mohamed El Hawary.
Founded in 2005, Hyper One is one of the biggest hyper market chains in Egypt. It has two main branches in 6th of October and 10th of Ramadan cities.
Hyperone is divided into four departments that are subdivided into 30 sections handling everything from daily groceries to modern electronics.
