Egyptian Takaful Insurance’s premiums grow 28.8% y-o-y in Q1-FY20

Egyptian Takaful Insurance (Property) posted a 28.8 percent year-on-year surge in premiums during the first quarter of the 2019/2020 financial year, said its managing director on Monday.

Premiums registered 219 million Egyptian pounds ($13.5 million), up from 170 million pounds during the first three months of financial year 2018/2019, Ahmed Arfeen added.

“Our insurance portfolio varies between fire, oil, and vehicles,” Arfeen said.
