The Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Kamel Amr, met yesterday with the Turkish counterpart, Ahmet Davutoğlu, in Jeddah to talk about the latest developments over the Syrian file and ways of reaching a political solution for the standing crisis.
Amr said that Egypt is keens to reach a solution that secures protecting the unity of Syria and its community and national institutions as well.
The two ministers agreed on continuing their coordination during the ministerial meeting, which will be held in Istanbul next Saturday for the main countries group that supports the Syrian national coalition. This meeting follows that one was held in Cairo on April 7th on the level of the senior officials.
