Egypt’s ministry of health said on Sunday that the third edition of the nationwide 100 Days of Health Campaign has provided 105,238 million (105238948) free medical services in the 74 days since its launch on July 15.
The services included:
- 23,597 through the Primary Healthcare Sector
- 188,945 via the Curative Care Sector
- 31,896 under Presidential Public Health Initiatives
- 7,525 through the Preventive Medicine Sector
- 45,931 from Teaching Hospitals and Institutes
- 8,799 under the Your Health is Happiness mental health initiative
- 8,103 via the General Authority for Health Insurance hospitals
- 5,055 by the Ambulance Authority
- 48,731 from Specialised Medical Centres Secretariat hospitals
- 9,082 through Therapeutic Institution hospitals
The campaign also reached 42,314 people with awareness and education activities delivered by community outreach teams in public areas, sports clubs, and shopping centres, the ministry added.
