Egypt’s agricultural exports surpass 2.7m tons in Q1 ’25

Egypt’s agricultural exports exceeded 2.7 million tons in the first quarter of 2025.

According to the cabinet statement, citrus fruits led the exports with 1,328,902 tons . Fresh potatoes came second with 492,763 tons, followed by beans in third place with 96,313 tons.

Sweet potatoes ranked fourth with 77,458 tons, strawberries came fifth with 29,162 tons, and fresh tomatoes took sixth place with 28,195 tons. Onions ranked seventh with 26,410 tons.

Garlic exports came in eighth at 9,745 tons, followed by guavas in ninth place with 7,835 tons, while pomegranates ranked tenth with 2,372 tons.
