Egypt’s leading Contracting Company Al-Abd says it targets delivering some 35 residential buildings as a part of a social housing project in the Six of October City within next November.
The total cost of the buildings is worth 150 million Egyptian pounds ($8.3 million).
Said Fattouh, Al-Abd’s Managing Director, said on Sunday that his company had carried out utilisation networks for the housing units, including drinking water and waste water lines as well as gas pipelines alongside road works.
“We will deliver the fully furnished units at spaces of 90 square metres,” Fattouh further noted.
About the country’s social housing projects, Fattouh added that Al-Abd is tasked with implementing other current works within a maximum timeframe of nine months.
