Egypt’s Antiquities, Tourism Sign MoU To Fund Grand Egyptian Museum

The Egyptian Ministries of Antiquities and Tourism will sign today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to start a donation campaign to finance the Grand Egyptian Museum. Both Ministers, Mohamed Ibrahim and Hesham Zazou, will sign the agreement in the presence of Mr. Tawfiq Kamal, Head of the Egyptian Hotels Association.

The agreement will be signed at the headquarters of Egypt’s cabinet, and a press conference will be held then to announce the details of the project.

It is expected that the Minister of Antiquities will be accompanied in tour to the restoration center, affiliated to the Grand Egyptian Museum, to follow the latest developments there, in addition to watching a presentation about the different phases of the project.
