Egyptian-based leading Arab Contractors says it has completed some road projects worth US$260 million in the Nigerian capital as part of infrastructure works being carried out there.
According to Ibrahim Mabrouk, Head of Africa sector at Arab Contractors, said his firm completed works on those projects within a three-year schedule, involving main and secondary roads linking Abuja with neighbouring cities.
Besides the road projects, Arab Contractors has also accomplished some water bridges and a major sanitation network in Abuja, Mabrouk further told Amwal Al Ghad on Wednesday.
Arab Contractors is taking part in the implementation of mega projects in several African countries, notably in major road works, worth more than US$1.7 billion.
