Egypt’s Arab Contractors on track for 2 infrastructure projects in Mauritania
Egypt’s state-run construction firm, Arab Contractors plans to start delivering two infrastructure flagships in Mauritania within the next few months, head of African sector said on Sunday.
At a total cost of $70 million, the works will include a drinking water station as well as a road project at a length of 74 km, Ibrahim Mabrouk further added.
“We are also close to hand over a number of road projects and drinking water networks in some African countries, notably Togo and Ethiopia within the current year,” Mabrouk said.
Arab Contractors is currently competing to win a mandate to implement new major road and sanitation projects in a bunch of African countries, he added.
