Egypt’s assistant health minister Nevine El-Nahas tests positive for coronavirus – sources
Egypt’s assistant health minister Nevine El-Nahas has tested positive for coronavirus and has been moved to an Ismalia quarantine hospital, sources told local news outlet El-Dostor on Monday.
The Egyptian Ministry of Health has not released any statement to confirm El-Nahas’ infection.
El-Nahas’ condition is “stable”, sources further the media outlet.
To date, Egypt has 9,746 confirmed coronavirus infections and 533 fatalities.
