Egypt’s banks shut Oct. 9 to mark 6th of October Victory

All banks in Egypt will be closed on Thursday, Oct. 9, to mark Armed Forces Day – the 6th of October Victory, the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said on Wednesday.

Banks will resume operations on Sunday, Oct. 12, it added.
