Egypt’s Banque Misr deal to deploy ATM machines at subway stations
Egypt’s second-largest state lender, Banque Misr said Sunday it has signed a cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Co. for Metro Management and Operation to deploy ATM machines at all subway stations.
Covering 71 stations in Cairo, the move aims to ease access to banking services by all the users of the tube.
This will make Banque Misr the first bank to cover all the Metro stations with ATMs.
10 ATMs were installed in stations as a first phase, and all the stations are expected to be covered during 2020.
