Egypt’s Banque Misr raises intl. credit card limits
Egypt’s Banque Misr increased the international spending limits on the “Golden” and “Islamic Golden” cards to EGP 10,000 for purchases instead of EGP 6,000 and EGP 3,000 for cash withdrawals.
It also amended the international purchase limit for both the “Titanium” and – “Islamic Titanium” card to EGP 25,000 instead of EGP 10.500 for purchases, and EGP 3,000 for cash withdrawals.
The international transaction limits for “Platinum” card customers were increased to EGP 50,000 for purchases instead of EGP 22,500 and EGP 3,000 for cash withdrawals.
The credit limit for “Visa Signature” and “World” customers reached EGP 100,000 for purchases instead of EGP 45,000 and EGP 6,000 for cash withdrawals, while the limit for international purchases for “World Elite” customers rose to EGP 200,000 instead of EGP 90,000, and EGP 6,000 for cash withdrawals.
