Egypt’s bourse indices see negative performance in Nov.’s last week
The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices went down in the last week of November, while market capitalisation lost 9 billion Egyptian pounds ($558.2 million).
Market capitalisation declined to 705.1 billion pounds over the week, compared to 713.9 billion pounds in the previous week.
The benchmark index, EGX 30, decreased by 245 points, or 1.7 percent, to 13,849 points, whereas EGX70 went down by 1.7 percent to reach 533 points.
The EGX 100 index shrank 1.8 percent to 1,402 points, while the equally-weighted index, EGX 50, sank 2.3 percent to 2,011 points.
