Egypt’s c.bank auctions EGP 18.5 billion in T-bills
Central Bank of Egypt has auctioned on Sunday treasury bills worth 18.5 billion Egyptian pounds ($1.1 billion) to finance budget deficit.
In a statement, the bank said it auctioned the first batch of 9 billion pounds for 91 days and the second of 9.5 billion pounds for 273 days.
The bank auctions T-bills in coordination with the Ministry of Finance.
