Egypt’s c. bank offers EGP 55b T-bills
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) is auctioning 55 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills (T-bills) on Monday, according to a CBE statement on its website.
The auctions are being offered in two tranches: 30 billion pounds for 182 days to be maturated on 15/10/2024 and another 25 billion pounds for 364 days to be maturated on 15/04/2025.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to a year.
