Egypt’s Cabinet on Wednesday approved a three-year contract with tax solutions technology company, E-Tax to develop and operate a case management platform for the country’s electronic invoice and e-receipt systems, it said in a statement.
The Ministry of Finance’s Egyptian Tax Authority said E-Tax is the designated operator for Egypt’s digital tax systems and has the technical capacity to deliver the platform, which is part of efforts to modernise and streamline tax administration.
The move is intended to strengthen compliance, improve efficiency and support the government’s broader digital transformation strategy.
