Egypt’s Cabinet approved on Wednesday the licensing of a dry port in the Al-Amriya area of Alexandria Governorate for the National Company for Refrigerating and Transportation.
The decision aligns with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi’s directives to develop Egypt as a regional hub for transport, logistics, and transit trade.
The new port will serve as a gateway for global commerce by boosting trade exchanges and maximising transit flows across logistical channels, corridors, and both land and dry ports.
