The Egyptian Cabinet held Wednesday morning a meeting, led by Dr Hesham Kandil, to look into a number of significant internal and external reports. The latest developments in a number of Egypt’s governorates topped the discussion; especially the protests and violence acts in Port Said and El Mansoura.
The meeting also discussed the current preparations for the coming parliamentary elections, and how to coordinate with the concerned ministries to end the elections with integrity and transparency.
As to the hard economic state that the country lives, the meeting considered the government’s effort to push the economy and restore security.
On the other hand, the meeting reviewed the results of Kandil’s visit to Iraq, and the talks that conducted with senior Iraqi officials to bolster the bilateral relations in various fields; economic, trade, petroleum, electricity and reconstruction.
