Vehicles sales in Egypt fell 8.5 percent year-on-year in the first five months of the year, the country’s automotive industry council said on Monday.
Sales fell to around 60,200 vehicles at the end of May, said the Automotive Information Council (AMIC) in a release.
Sales of passenger vehicles dropped 10 percent year-on-year to 41,100, while bus and truck sales grew 3.6 percent year-on-year to around 5,700, AMIC’s report added.
