Egypt’s central bank offers EGP 75b in T-bills
The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), in coordination with the Ministry of Finance, is auctioning 75 billion Egyptian pounds in treasury bills on Monday, the central bank said in a statement.
The offer includes two tranches: 30 billion pounds in 91-day T-bills maturing on 13 January, 2026, and 45 billion pounds in 273-day T-bills maturing on 14 July, 2026.
Treasury bills are short-term government debt instruments with maturities ranging from three months to one year.
