Egypt’s CI Capital net profit jumps 376% in H1
Egypt’s investment bank CI Capital Holding for Financial Investments reported on Monday a 376 percent year-on-year growth in net profit for the first half of the year.
Consolidated net profit climbed to 977.94 million Egyptian pounds ($62.3 million) for the first six months ending in June 2021 from 205.38 million pounds for the same period last year.
Revenues also rose to 1.98 billion pounds at the end of June from 1.03 billion pounds for the same period in 2020.
Second-quarter net profit also jumped to 974.55 million pounds at the end of June, compared with 103.52 million pounds last year.
