Egypt’s CIB receives award at ACFM

Commercial International Bank (CIB), Egypt’s largest private sector bank has received on Wednesday award of the best institution for applying environmental, social sustainability practices in Egypt.

The bank is the only institution that listed in the Egyptian Exchange which received the award at the Annual Conference of the Arab Capital Markets Federation (ACFM) held in Muscat, Oman.

It is worth mentioning that CIB has been issuing annual sustainability reports in accordance with Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) standards since 2015.

In 2021, the bank’s sustainability report included the criteria of the Sustainability Accountability Standards Board (SASB), as it becomes the first bank in Egypt and the region issue this report.
