Egypt’s coronavirus cases pass 4,000, with 201 new infections
Egypt’s coronavirus cases have passed 4,000 on Friday after reporting 201 new infections, according to a health ministry statement.
The total number of cases now stands at 4,092 in Egypt, the statement added.
The country also reported seven new fatalities on Friday, bringing the total number of deaths linked to the coronavirus to 294, it said.
The ministry said 71 Egyptian patients have fully recovered and been discharged from isolation hospitals and quarantine facilities, bringing the total number of recoveries to 1,075.
