Egypt’s Court Rejects Tawfiq Okasha Suit

The Administrative Judiciary Court, headed by Judge Hasouna Tawfiq, vice chairman of State Council, rejected the lawsuit filed by Tawfiq Okasha, Head of “Al Fareen” channel. The lawsuit has called for rebroadcasting the channel.

The court elucidated the reasons of its verdict, as the decision of closing the channel ended last August 23rd, so there isn’t a decision by which the court can returns a verdict. Therefore the court rejected the lawsuit of Tawfiq Okasha.

Okasha has litigated Dr Mohamed Morsi, Dr Hesham Kandil, ministers of investment and information.
