Egypt’s current account deficit hits $11.1b in H1 2024/’25
Egypt’s central bank said on Tuesday that the country’s balance of payments recorded an overall deficit of $502.6 million in the first half of fiscal year 2024/2025.
The current account deficit reached about $11.1 billion, while capital and financial transactions posted a net inflow of approximately $7.9 billion, the bank said in a statement.
