Egypt’s Deputy Prime Minister for Human Development and Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, held a meeting with representatives from Alameda Healthcare on Sunday to discuss potential collaboration in the healthcare sector aimed at enhancing medical services for patients, as per a Cabinet statement.
The meeting included a detailed presentation on Alameda’s network of hospitals, their medical services, and the healthcare technologies they employ. Discussions focused on exploring public-private partnership models within the framework of existing regulations.
The talks also highlighted the benefits of public-private cooperation, aiming to maximise the use of the Ministry’s certified facilities and trained workforce.
Additionally, the meeting addressed enhancing knowledge exchange between medical teams at the Ministry of Health and Alameda, as well as organising accredited training programs for Ministry staff.
