Egypt’s domestic debt at 3.536 trillion pounds as of end March
Egypt’s domestic debt rose to 3.536 trillion Egyptian pounds ($197.5 billion) by the end of March, up from 3.414 trillion pounds last year, central bank data showed on Tuesday.
The ratio of domestic debt to gross domestic product reached nearly 86.8 percent as of the end of March this year, compared with 83.8 percent at the end of March 2017.
The average domestic debt per capita of Egypt reached around 36,800 pounds ($2,057.87) in March.
