Ibrahim Mekky, chairman of the Egyptian Petrochemicals Holding Company (ECHEM), met with Mario Franchin, vice president of North and East Africa at Maire Tecnimont S.p.A., on Tuesday to discuss expanding their collaboration on ECHEM’s projects.
The discussions centered on leveraging Maire Tecnimont’s expertise in production licensing and general contracting services to enhance project development and increase production capacity within Egypt’s growing petrochemical sector.
The meeting marks a significant step in reinforcing strategic partnerships between global industry leaders and underscores Egypt’s commitment to advancing its petrochemical infrastructure.
