Egypt’s EDA explores boosting drug exports to Yemen

The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) head Ali El Ghamrawy held a meeting on Wednesday with the chairman of Yemen’s Supreme Board of Drugs and Medical Appliances (SBDMA) Ali Mohammad Abbas to explore technical cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector and boost Egyptian exports to Yemen.

The discussions focused on challenges facing Yemen’s pharmaceutical industry and the exchange of expertise on regulatory best practices and drug quality assurance to enhance the sector, as per a Cabinet statement.
