Egypt’s EDA in talks to secure steady supply of medicines

Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) chairman Ali El-Ghamrawy has held talks with the Egyptian Company for Pharmaceutical Trading Chairman Mohamed Aboul Fotouh Al-Tawil to discuss ways of strengthening cooperation to support the healthcare system and ensure the sustainable availability of medicines for citizens.

Talks focused on mechanisms to distribute pharmaceutical products through the company’s pharmacies and branches nationwide, with the aim of securing consistent supply to patients and balancing market needs.

Both sides also explored establishing a scientific office within the company to serve as a platform for research and studies on pharmaceutical products, enhancing transparency in information exchange.
