Egypt’s EDA prepares for key participation in Pharmaconex ’25

Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) head Ali El-Ghamrawy met with representatives from Informa to discuss the upcoming Pharmaconex 2025 conference scheduled for September 1-3, 2025, the Cabinet said on Wednesday.

Pharmaconex is a leading platform that brings together top pharmaceutical and biotech companies, offering opportunities for knowledge exchange and showcasing the latest innovations in the sector.

The meeting discussed EDA’s involvement in an international event, emphasising its role in organising and developing the pharmaceutical sector to enhance global competitiveness, the statement said.

El-Ghamrawy stressed the significance of Egypt’s involvement in global industry events to showcase its regulatory model and boost the competitiveness of Egyptian pharmaceutical products worldwide. He noted that the EDA aims for an impactful presence that reflects ongoing efforts to develop the national pharmaceutical system and strengthen its global standing.

The Informa delegation praised the EDA’s regulatory and developmental role and expressed interest in forming a successful partnership during the conference to share its experience in policy development and market regulation with stakeholders.
