Egypt’s Education Min. opens 5 new schools in Qalyubia

Egypt’s Minister of Education Mohamed Abdel Latif inaugurated five new schools in Qalyubia governorate on Monday as part of preparations for the 2025/26 school year and in celebration of the governorate’s national day.

The new institutions include Marsafa School for Basic Education in Benha, Fathy Mohamed Abdel Rahman Official Language School, Kom Al-Atroun School for Basic Education, Kafr El-Gamal School for Basic Education, and the Egyptian-Japanese School in Qanater El-Khairia, which comprises 28 classrooms and four fully equipped laboratories.

The openings are part of wider efforts to expand school capacity, reduce overcrowding and improve education quality through upgraded infrastructure in cooperation with state institutions.
