Egypt’s education minister explores partnership with Casio for tech-driven learning

Egypt’s Minister of Education and Technical Education, Mohamed Abdel Latif met on Thursday with a Casio delegation led by CEO Masuda Yuichi to discuss potential collaborations in education, according to a Cabinet statement.

During the meeting, Minister Abdel Latif outlined the ministry’s initiatives to enhance technical education, particularly through applied technology schools that provide hands-on industrial training to align with labour market demands.

Masuda expressed Casio’s keen interest in expanding cooperation, emphasising the company’s dedication to supporting mathematics education with innovative solutions. He highlighted Casio’s previous efforts in training Egyptian math teachers in 2018 and shared plans to deepen collaboration by supplying scientific calculators, educational resources, and teacher training programs.
