Egypt’s EGX, banks to start five-day holiday in April

Egyptian banks and the country’s stock exchange will be closed for five days starting next Wednesday, to celebrate the Easter holiday and several national holidays, state news agency MENA said on Wednesday.

The holiday will take place from Thursday 25 April through Monday 29 April.

Sinai Liberation Day falls on Thursday, Coptic Easter is on Sunday, and Egypt’s Sham El-Nassim spring festival is on Monday.
