Egypt’s EHA, e& Egypt partner to enhance healthcare services

Egypt Healthcare Authority (EHA) signed a cooperation protocol with e& Egypt, focusing on several key areas aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery, the Egyptian cabinet reported on Monday.

The agreement includes the provision of innovative technological solutions for healthcare, strengthening telecom networks to improve communication in remote areas, and offering special benefits to EHA employees and their families.

Additionally, the protocol explores the possibility of providing healthcare services to e& Egypt employees and their families at EHA facilities.

One of the prominent projects under this collaboration is the transformation of the Suez Medical Complex into a fully digital, smart hospital utilising 5G technology. The development, which costs over 4 billion Egyptian pounds, will make the complex the largest medical facility in northern Egypt.
