Egyptian construction firm El Rowad says it is close to sign a contract to execute two state social housing flagships in 10th of Ramadan and Sixth of October cities within 2019.
At a total cost of around 500 million Egyptian pounds ($28 million), the two projects will include 2,000 units and 82 buildings, besides a bunch of landscapes and utilities works, vice chairman Mamdouh El Morshedy said on Monday.
“It is scheduled to deliver the two projects within 18 months,” El Morshedy said.
Moreover, El Rowad won a mandate to implement 400 housing units in SECON residential project, owned by Saudi Egyptian Construction Company (SECON) in Fifth Settlement district, New Cairo, he added.
The 400 units will be handed over within six months, at a cost totalling 250 million pounds, El Morshedy said.
